The private pool, the view, charming staff, beautiful location and access to the hotel, well groomed facilities that were always clean, the spa was small but functional... Pretty much everything was perfect. The room overlooks a small river valley so you get that beautiful babbling river sound that is just so peaceful. We came with our 18 month old and the staff was amazing with her, always smiling and talking to her. She had a blast! One quick note which didn't bother us but I guess we didn't expect is that the villa has two floors - the top one where the room and bathroom are and the bottom floor with an outdoor kitchen and the pool with some sunbeds.

Our stay at "Griya shanthi villas & SPA" was simply perfect from the very first moment. We were welcomed with such warmth and genuine smiles from the staff that we immediately felt at home. The villa itself was a dream – bathrobes, shower, pool, fully equipped kitchen – and the arrival decoration was absolutely beautiful. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the incredible kindness, attention, and care of the entire team. They went above and beyond to make every moment special, and their genuine hospitality turned a great stay into an unforgettable memory.

I had an absolutely excellent stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the host was incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. They were very helpful with any questions I had and offered great recommendations for local spots, which really enhanced my trip. Communication was smooth and prompt throughout the stay, which made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. The place itself was spotless, well-maintained, and clearly cared for with attention to detail. It had everything I needed and more. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed stay. I’ll definitely be back!

We stayed at Griya Shanti Ubud for three nights, and it was truly one of the most peaceful and rejuvenating experiences I’ve had in Bali. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm Balinese hospitality & blessing. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always smiling – they went out of their way to ensure every part of my stay was comfortable. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with traditional Balinese touches. I especially loved waking up to the sound of birds and enjoying the lush green views from the villa. If you’re looking for serenity, this place delivers in spades. The location is ideal – close enough to Ubud center to explore the shops, restaurants, and attractions, but tucked away in a quiet area surrounded by rice fields and nature. The best of both worlds! Breakfast was a highlight every morning – fresh, delicious, and served with a view. I also tried one of their spa treatments and left feeling totally refreshed. Whether you’re in Ubud to relax, write, do yoga, or just disconnect from the business of life, Griya Shanti is a perfect sanctuary.

We stayed at Vila Jepun in Griyashanti Villas and absolutely loved every moment. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. As the name Griyashanti suggests—the comfort of home—that’s exactly what we experienced here. The villa was peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by nature—perfect for a relaxing escape. Every morning felt magical waking up in such a serene environment. The service was exceptional, with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, welcoming, and truly Balinese experience. We’d love to come back again!

Our stay at this villa in Ubud was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm Balinese hospitality and breathtaking views of the lush jungle. The villa was immaculately clean. The private infinity pool overlooking the river was a highlight, making every sunrise and sunset feel like a dream. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing delicious breakfasts, arranging transport, and even organizing a private massages nearly every day The location was perfect—peaceful and secluded, yet just a short drive from Ubud’s vibrant center. Whether we were relaxing by the pool, exploring nearby waterfalls, or enjoying the incredible local cuisine, every moment felt special. If you’re looking for a luxurious, tranquil escape in Ubud, this villa is an absolute must. We can’t wait to return! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Bali!

Loved staying here and would definitely recommend it to anyone considering it. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They spend a lot of time ensuring the upkeep of the place and helping out wherever they could. We also enjoyed the relaxing massages that could be booked for the day from therapists that attended the villa. The location was also so peaceful and relaxing, surrounded by rice paddies and trees. The ride into the centre of Ubud was not too difficult and Grab taxis were easily available around.

everything was as promised. Villa is super clean and tidy, all the staff are happy and helpful and always keen to help you have free shuttle to downtown Ubud 3 times daily you get also free shuttle to a close big supermarket for daily needs area is very safe but not much around, you and the nature only. super relaxing. we also loved the free perks, we got free dinner and free half an hour massage with the booking which was amazing. the massage was super relaxing. Also huge huge shoutout to DIAN, our lovely host and friend, she took extremely good care of us throughout the whole visit and was always available for any needs we have, we had a small issue in our villa and straight away was offered to swap the villa is that's satisfactory to us and also goodwill from their end. she is really expert in customer service and very very helpful. we loved our stay in Upud so much and would totally recommend Griya Shanti

On arrival we were greeted by very friendly and attentive staff who informed us of the facilities and activities available. We managed to organise a floating breakfast for the following morning which was absolutely stunning. The villa itself was perfect. Very spacious, spread out over two levels with a generous, very inviting pool overlooking an amazing jungle view. The room was well appointed with all of the amenities you could want. The location was great, set in a quiet secluded area but close enough to the hustle and bustle of Ubud Central. Would highly recommend a stay here at Griya Shanti Villas.

It was just an amazing stay. We loved our villa and it's decor. The garden surrounding the pool gave us a lot of privacy. The staff was lovely and made our stay as comfortable as possible. We received free dinner and a couple massage. They even offered a 15 minute free photo shoot. The reception booked for us a scooter, that was delivered to the hotel within one hour. We spent one worry free week there and would love to come back.
